Maximus in the United Kingdom is seeking a Registered Nurse (NMC) to join as a Nurse Functional Assessor. You will use clinical expertise to assess how a person’s disability or health condition impacts daily living and contribute to improving services for customers.

The role involves telephone, video or in-person assessments, producing PIP reports for the DWP, and ongoing training with mentorship to support professional development.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration number
• At least 1 year of broad post-registration adult or mental health experience
• UK work rights – sponsorship not offered
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports

Responsabilités

• Conduct telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person’s disability or health condition affects daily life
• Produce Personal Independence Payment (PIP) reports to help DWP determine eligibility for benefits
• Develop clinical knowledge with regular feedback and supervision
