Maximus in Blackburn is seeking a Nurse Functional Assessor for a full-time, hybrid role. You will perform clinical reviews and contribute to PIP reports to support case managers and the DWP, enabling timely decisions for benefits.

The role includes six weeks of training, ongoing mentorship, and flexible working options. A supportive environment focuses on professional development, diversity, and inclusivity.

Competenze

• Must hold valid NMC registration.
• At least 1 year of broad post-registration adult or mental health experience.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.

Mansioni

• Conduct telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person’s disability or health condition affects their daily life.
• Produce Personal Independence Payment (PIP) reports to help the DWP determine eligibility for benefits.
• Develop clinical knowledge and assessment skills with regular feedback and supervision.
