Job summary

Maximus, a global organisation delivering health and employment services, is seeking a Nurse Functional Assessor. You’ll use clinical expertise to understand how a person’s disability or health condition affects daily life and handle complex cases involving physical and mental health conditions.

We provide tailored training and ongoing mentorship. Flexibility is offered with full-time, part-time and hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration number.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person’s disability or health condition affects daily life.
• Produce Work Capability Assessment (WCA) reports to help DWP determine eligibility for benefits.
• Develop clinical knowledge with regular feedback and supervision.
