Job summary

Healthcare Homes Holdings Limited is seeking a dedicated Nurse for Overbury House in Norfolk. You will provide compassionate care, administer medications, and support with admissions and GP rounds as part of a busy nursing team.

The role emphasizes updating care plans, regulatory knowledge (MCA/DoLs), and staff coaching to maintain high standards of resident care. Induction and extensive training are provided.

Qualifications

• NMC registration current and up-to-date.
• Ability to write detailed care plans including risk assessments and diet plans.
• Understanding MCA/DoLs and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and care to residents, meeting physical and psychological needs.
• Administer, document, and order prescribed medication.
• Support with new admissions and discharges of residents.
• Attend weekly GP rounds and liaise with external parties.
• Update and maintain resident care plans, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Coach, support and develop the care team to deliver high-standard care.

36 hours per week on days occasional nights (includes alternate weekends)

If you are kind, compassionate and committed, we would love for you to join our nursing team at our lovely nursing home, Overbury House.

Overbury House provides residential, nursing and dementia care to elderly people living in Norfolk. The home is always busy with plenty of activities for the residents to be involved in.

What would a typical day look like?

• Provide support and care to our residents, meeting their physical and psychological needs
• Administration, documentation and ordering of prescribed medication
• Support with new admissions and discharges of residents
• Weekly GP rounds
• Updating and maintaining resident care plans, liaising with external parties where applicable
• Coaching, supporting and developing our care team to deliver a high standard of care at all times

Our nursing team are the backbone of our home and it is essential that our team have current NMC registrations, up to date knowledge of clinical practices and experience in writing detailed care plans including risk assessments and diet plans. A good understanding of regulatory frameworks including MCA/DoLs is also required.
