Job summary

Healthcare Homes Holdings Limited is seeking a dedicated nurse for our Haughgate House facility. The role involves caring for residents, administering medications, and supporting admissions and discharges, with weekly GP rounds to ensure high standards of care. NMC registration and knowledge of MCA/DoLs are essential, along with a strong commitment to quality care.

Qualifications

• Must hold current NMC registration.
• Knowledge of MCA/DoLs and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience writing detailed care plans including risk and dietary plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to residents meeting physical and psychological needs.
• Administer, document and order prescribed medications.
• Support with admissions and discharges of residents.
• Attend weekly GP rounds and maintain care plans.

What would a typical day look like?

• Provide support and care to our residents, meeting their physical and psychological needs
• Administration, documentation and ordering of prescribed medication
• Support with new admissions and discharges of residents
• Weekly GP rounds
• Updating and maintaining resident care plans, liaising with external parties where applicable
• Coaching, supporting and developing our care team to deliver a high standard of care at all times

Our nursing team are the backbone of our home and it is essential that our team have current NMC registrations, up to date knowledge of clinical practices and experience in writing detailed care plans including risk assessments and diet plans. A good understanding of regulatory frameworks including MCA/DoLs is also required.
