Job summary

Healthcare Homes in England is seeking a compassionate registered nurse to join Blandford Grange's care team. You will deliver person-centred care, support residents' physical and psychological needs, and help with admissions and discharges.

You will maintain care plans, update risk assessments, participate in weekly GP rounds, and coach the care team to uphold high standards. A strong understanding of MCA/DoLs and regulatory frameworks is essential.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registrations and up-to-date knowledge of clinical practices.
• Experience writing detailed care plans including risk assessments and diet plans.
• Good understanding of regulatory frameworks including MCA/DoLs.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and care to residents meeting physical and psychological needs.
• Administration, documentation and ordering of prescribed medication.
• Support with new admissions and discharges of residents.
• Weekly GP rounds.
• Updating and maintaining resident care plans, liaising with external parties where applicable.
• Coaching, supporting and developing the care team to deliver a high standard of care.
