Job summary

Healthcare Homes Holdings Limited is seeking a Domestic Assistant for Overbury House in Wroxham to join our care home team. You’ll help keep residents’ rooms and communal areas clean, assist with preparing rooms for new admissions, and support daily housekeeping tasks.

Shifts are 8am–4pm, 30 hours per week (including alternate weekends) or 22.5 hours per week. We value kindness, compassion and attention to detail, and offer a thorough induction, pension, generous holiday entitlement and training

Qualifications

• Kind, compassionate and committed with good attention to detail.
• Experience in housekeeping is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents' rooms and communal areas remain clean and tidy.
• Prepare vacant rooms for viewings and new admissions.
• Stock control and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals.

Domestic Assistant

£12.71 per hour

30 hours per week (includes alternate weekends)

Overbury House provides residential, nursing and dementia care to elderly people living in Norfolk. The home is located close to the Norfolk Broads in a quiet residential district. The home is always busy with plenty of activities for the residents to be involved in.

What would a typical day look like?

• Ensuring our residents rooms and communal areas remain clean and tidy
• Preparing vacant rooms for viewings and new admissions
• Stock control and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals
