Job summary

Nurse position at Tenchley Manor, part of Healthcare Homes Holdings Limited, is now open. You will join our warm nursing home offering nursing, respite, and end-of-life care and provide compassionate support to residents.

The role covers administering medications, updating care plans, supporting new admissions and discharges, and coordinating with GP rounds. A current NMC registration and MCA/DoLs awareness are required; we offer induction and ongoing training.

Qualifications

  • Current NMC registration is required.
  • Experience writing detailed care plans including risk assessments and diet plans.
  • Good understanding of MCA/DoLs and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and care to residents, meeting physical and psychological needs.
  • Administration, documentation and ordering of prescribed medication.
  • Support with admissions and discharges of residents.

Trained to meet various health needs, our team ensures residents receive the highest standards of support by tailoring care to their individual preferences.

What would a typical day look like?
  • Provide support and care to our residents, meeting their physical and psychological needs
  • Administration, documentation and ordering of prescribed medication
  • Support with new admissions and discharges of residents
  • Weekly GP rounds
  • Updating and maintaining resident care plans, liaising with external parties where applicable
  • Coaching, supporting and developing our care team to deliver a high standard of care at all times

Our nursing team are the backbone of our home and it is essential that our team have current NMC registrations, up to date knowledge of clinical practices and experience in writing detailed care plans including risk assessments and diet plans. A good understanding of regulatory frameworks including MCA/DoLs is also required.
