Job summary

Healthcare Homes Holdings Limited in Watford is seeking a compassionate Nurse to join The Chase Care Centre team. You will provide patient‑focused care, administer medications and support admissions, discharges and daily resident routines in a modern, purpose‑built home.

The role requires current NMC registration and experience in care planning, with a strong understanding of MCA/DoLs. The position is full‑time with alternate weekends, and offers continual training through the Healthcare Homes

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration and up-to-date knowledge of clinical practices.
• Experience in writing detailed care plans including risk assessments and diet plans.
• Good understanding of MCA/DoLs regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and care to residents, meeting physical and psychological needs.
• Administration, documentation and ordering of prescribed medication.
• Support with new admissions and discharges of residents.
• Weekly GP rounds.
• Updating and maintaining resident care plans, liaising with external parties.
• Coaching, supporting and developing the care team to deliver high standards.

The Chase is a modern purpose built home situated in the town of Watford in Hertfordshire. The home provides a warm and friendly environment for residents and the staff are committed to meeting the residents’ expectations at every level.

What would a typical day look like?

• Provide support and care to our residents, meeting their physical and psychological needs
• Administration, documentation and ordering of prescribed medication
• Support with new admissions and discharges of residents
• Weekly GP rounds
• Updating and maintaining resident care plans, liaising with external parties where applicable
• Coaching, supporting and developing our care team to deliver a high standard of care at all times

Our nursing team are the backbone of our home and it is essential that our team have current NMC registrations, up to date knowledge of clinical practices and experience in writing detailed care plans including risk assessments and diet plans. A good understanding of regulatory frameworks including MCA/DoLs is also required.
