Overview

Relief Registered Nurse | Location: Downley, High Wycombe, HP13 5US | Pay rate: £24.18 per hour | Contracted hours: Relief

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the care team on shift to ensure high standards of nursing and personal care; provide clinical leadership and guidance where necessary.
  • Deliver, monitor, and re-evaluate care needs in partnership with residents, their key carers, family members and the wider home team; liaise with GPs, hospitals and external agencies.
  • Work as part of a supportive team in a nurturing environment with opportunities for skill development and career progression.
About You / Qualifications
  • Qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), currently registered with the NMC.
  • Post-registration experience with evidence of continuing professional development; able to work autonomously.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks; willing to train in: medication administration, catheterisation, end of life care, verification of death, syringe drivers, gastrostomy care, venepuncture, diabetic awareness, tissue viability, epilepsy awareness, and management of deterioration.
  • Positive role model with excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships; capable of motivating a team to deliver high-quality care.
