Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear, part of Babcock International Group, is hiring a Quantity Surveyor in Warrington with hybrid working. You will provide commercial support across project activities, manage change events, and ensure contractual obligations are met while maximising value.

Join a team delivering major projects with strong relationships to customers and subcontractors. A degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent is required, with BPSS clearance ability encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience with NEC3 or NEC4 contracts.
• Proven ability to build positive stakeholder relationships.
• Experience supporting commercial activities across engineering, construction, infrastructure or manufacturing projects.
• Understanding of contract administration, change management and commercial governance processes.
• Experience collaborating within project delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Providing commercial support across project activities including change management, compensation events, contractual notices and governance reviews.
• Supporting the project team with all commercial aspects of project delivery.
• Developing strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
• Managing subcontract commercial activities during project execution and mitigating exposure to subcontractor claims.
• Ensuring contractual procedures, compliance requirements and commercial notices are issued accurately and on time.
