Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear in Warrington is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial support across project activities, managing contract administration and change control to maximise value and compliance. You will work with project managers, customers, suppliers and subcontractors to deliver commercial outcomes, while maintaining governance and ensuring timely contractual notices.

The role is full-time with hybrid pattern and 3 days onsite at Dalton Avenue.

Qualifications

• Experience with NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
• Experience developing positive stakeholder and customer relationships.
• Experience supporting commercial activities across engineering, construction, infrastructure or manufacturing projects.
• Understanding of contract administration, change management and commercial governance processes.
• Experience working collaboratively within project delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Providing commercial support across project activities including change management, compensation events, contractual notices and governance reviews.
• Supporting the project team with all commercial aspects of project delivery.
• Developing strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
• Managing subcontract commercial activities during project execution and mitigating exposure to subcontractor claims.
• Ensuring contractual procedures, compliance requirements and commercial notices are issued accurately and on time.
