Cavendish Nuclear, a major UK defence and infrastructure partner, invites applications for a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Glasgow. The role is full-time with hybrid working, three days in the office/onsite.

You will lead commercial activities, manage contracts, and coordinate risk and governance across major programmes that support national security. Essentially you will provide commercial leadership, supervise subcontract administration, manage compensation events, and maintain strong

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a Quantity Surveying role within engineering, construction, infrastructure or major project environments.
• Strong commercial management experience across large, complex contracts and project delivery programmes.
• Demonstrable experience managing multiple projects and engaging effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Detailed knowledge of commercial administration and contract management within engineering and construction sectors.

Responsabilités

• Providing commercial management and guidance across projects and contracts to maximise value and performance.
• Supporting project teams with commercial activities including contract administration, change management, compensation events and governance reviews.
• Managing commercial risk and ensuring contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Developing strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to align objectives and deliver successful outcomes.
• Leading post-contract commercial management activities, including subcontract administration, payment certification and final account settlements.
