Qualifications

• Experience performing pipe stress analysis for nuclear piping systems.
• Familiarity with high-integrity piping design and related standards.

Responsibilities

• You will perform detailed pipe stress analysis for high-integrity piping systems across complex nuclear projects. You will provide specialist engineering input covering flexibility, thermal, seismic and equipment loading assessments.
• Perform detailed pipe stress analysis using CAESAR II software
• Assess flexibility, thermal expansion, vibration and seismic loading
• Evaluate pipe supports, restraints and spring hanger requirements
• Apply ASME, EN, RCC-M and project-specific design requirements
• Assess piping loads transferred onto connected mechanical equipment
• Produce clear stress reports, calculation notes and technical justifications
• Review piping layouts, isometrics and 3D models for stress requirements
• Coordinate technical interfaces with piping, process and structural teams
• Support design reviews, risk assessments and nuclear quality requirements
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and project teams
