Cavendish Nuclear invites you to join a 4-year Mechanical Engineering Apprentice programme in Leicester, pursuing a BEng (Hons) in Nuclear Engineering while gaining hands-on experience on projects that support safe nuclear delivery. You’ll work across the engineering lifecycle, creating CAD models, performing calculations, and producing technical drawings to national and international standards.

You’ll train at the Nuclear Skills Academy and University of Derby, with a work‑based learning

Qualifications

• GCSEs and Maths/English/Science are required as a base.

Responsibilities

• Shadow engineers and contribute to design, modelling, calculations and documentation.
• Produce 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings for review.
• Support design lifecycle from concept to final drawings and calculations.
