Babcock International’s Cavendish Nuclear division in Leicester invites applications for a Mechanical Engineering Degree Apprenticeship. Over four years you’ll study toward a BEng (Hons) in Nuclear Engineering while gaining hands-on experience on projects supporting safe nuclear delivery and decommissioning.

You’ll work with CAD, 3D modelling, mechanical calculations and produce engineering drawings to national and international standards, shadowing engineers and developing skills across the

Qualificações

• Minimum of GCSEs at 4/C or above, including Maths, English and Science.
• 104 UCAS points at A Level with Maths and Physics or STEM.
• Alternative routes: BTEC Extended Diploma, Access, IB, T Level, or IELTS.
• Must be able to obtain BPSS and Security Check clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Study toward degree while gaining hands-on experience on nuclear projects.
• Shadow engineers and assist across design, modelling, calculations, and documentation.
• Develop CAD models, perform calculations, and prepare detailed drawings and reports.
• Contribute to safety-critical and environmental compliance across projects.
