Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear invites applications for an Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineering Degree Apprentice in Leicester. Over four years you will rotate through six-month placements, gaining hands-on experience while studying towards the University of Derby degree apprenticeship.

You’ll work with PLCs/SCADA, learn from mentors, and develop the skills to contribute to UK nuclear projects. The programme includes fully funded training and a clear path to professional registration.

Qualifications

• GCSEs: minimum 5 including Maths, English and Science
• UCAS or equivalent points required as listed
• Security clearance BPSS/SC may apply

Responsibilities

• Rotate through 6-month placements across Cavendish Nuclear
• Assist in designing, building and maintaining nuclear facilities
• Work with PLCs, SCADA, reactor protection and radiological monitoring equipment
