Cavendish Nuclear is offering a Mechanical Engineering Apprentice programme in Warrington. Over four years you will study towards a BEng (Hons) in Professional Engineering (Product Design) while gaining hands-on experience on nuclear projects, supporting design, modelling, and documentation.

You’ll learn CAD, 3D modelling, calculations, and produce drawings to national/international standards, with mentors guiding your development toward a professional engineering career.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including Maths, English and Science at grade C/4 or above.
• A Levels or equivalent in Maths/Physics or a STEM subject.
• Interest in mechanical engineering and product design for nuclear projects.

Responsibilities

• Shadow engineers and gain hands-on experience across CAD, modelling and calculations.
• Produce engineering drawings and equipment specifications to standards.
• Support design lifecycle from concept to documentation and testing.
