Nuclear Material Control Technician
Location: RG7 4PR, located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking.
Package: £27,825 - £33,000 ( depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience)
Working pattern: AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight. We will consider flexible working requests so that your work may fit in with your lifestyle. Just let us know your preferred working pattern on your application.

AWE is currently recruiting for a Nuclear Material Control Technician in our Nuclear Materials Control team working within our Operations function.
As a Nuclear Material Control Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring all processing, movements and storage of Nuclear Materials are carried out in accordance with procedures, Assist the Accountable Nuclear Materials Inventory Holder with duties in accordance with the Nuclear Material Accountancy & Control manual.
You will comply with and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality, Operate Nuclear Materials accountancy systems, assist with the production of key accountancy related reports Prepared to undertake shift work if required.

Due to the nature of the work involved, there are limited opportunities to work from home in this role. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will spend the majority of their time working on site at AWE Aldermaston. Typically 4 days onsite per week.
