Job summary

Vulcain Engineering Group seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead the Main Control Room programme at Hinkley Point C, Somerset. You will coordinate engineering, manufacturing, installation and completion activities, while managing risks and stakeholder relationships on a nationally significant nuclear project.

The role requires onsite leadership in a complex engineering environment, with travel limited to Somerset area and relocation if needed.

Qualifications

• Proven PM experience on major projects.
• Experience with NEC3/NEC4 contracts or similar.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Primary UK-based interface between project team and key customer stakeholders.
• Drive delivery across engineering, manufacturing, installation and completion activities.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and build relationships at all levels.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to meet milestones and objectives.
• Manage project risks, issues, actions and recovery plans.
• Support NEC contracts administration and change management.
• Monitor progress with robust reporting and governance practices.
• Capture lessons learned for future phases.
