Job summary

Vulcain Engineering invites applications for a Risk Manager to join our UK project controls team. Working in a hybrid setup focused on the Hinkley Point C programme, you will establish risk registers, perform analyses, and lead mitigation actions with diverse project teams.

You will advise Programme Directors on key risk areas and help shape the Risk Management Strategy, ensuring alignment with objectives and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Risk Manager on large-scale infrastructure or regulated projects.
• Strong knowledge of risk management principles and practices.
• Experience with qualitative and quantitative risk analysis.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain risk registers for the HPC programme.
• Identify, document and monitor risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Develop and implement mitigation and action plans.
• Collaborate with project teams to execute mitigation strategies.
• Develop and maintain the Risk Management Strategy and Plan.
• Align with project objectives and industry best practices.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analysis on the schedule.
• Advise Directors on key risk areas for mitigation.
• Lead risk workshops with project managers.
• Foster a collaborative environment for risk identification.
• Coordinate with other Risk Managers to avoid duplication.
• Ensure cohesive risk management across all areas.
