Job summary

KLA is seeking a Product Engineer (Sustaining & NPI) based in Celtic Lakes, Newport. You will support surface and mechanical metrology systems, drive service infrastructure, and implement product updates with cross-functional teams across a growing Newport facility with extensive R&D and manufacturing spaces.

You will act as the Voice of Service, ensuring scalable tools, processes and training while collaborating with engineering and field teams to improve service delivery and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.
• Excellent presentation skills and comfort in front of diverse audiences.
• Demonstrable problem solving skills and understanding of business impact.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies, processes, and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Drive Service Infrastructure and Strategy across shared platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering on product updates to assess serviceability impacts.
• Maintain and evolve PSPs using field data for cost, reliability and PM strategies.
• Support escalations and translate field feedback into engineering improvements.
• Develop scalable training and documentation for shared infrastructure.
• Lead best practices and knowledge systems for field teams.
• Support targeted installs and upgrades to validate service processes.
