Job summary

Spectrum Control is seeking an experienced New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer to drive the transfer of new electronic products from concept to ramp‑up. You will work with design, manufacturing, process, test, quality and supply chain teams to ensure robust, manufacturable and testable products.

You will lead manufacturing design reviews and support production‑readiness activities, with a focus on process development, BOM, drawings and documentation alignment across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Significant experience in electronic product development, NPI, or manufacturing engineering in high‑reliability sectors.
• Experience transferring electronic products from concept through qualification to ramp‑up.
• Strong background in electronic manufacturing processes, inspection, test, and documentation.
• Knowledge of DFx: design for manufacturability, assembly, test, and reliability.
• Experience participating in cross‑functional design and manufacturing reviews.

Responsibilities

• Support NPI activities from concept through qualification, production release, and ramp‑up.
• Represent manufacturing to ensure manufacturability, assembly, test, reliability and production requirements.
• Support electronic engineering activities including requirements capture, design reviews, component selection, verification and validation.
• Lead manufacturing design reviews and production‑readiness reviews.
• Develop manufacturing approaches: process flow, assembly methods, tooling, equipment, inspection, test requirements.
• Plan and support prototypes, pilot and pre‑production builds and perform root cause analysis.
