Job summary

Rayner Surgical Group is seeking an experienced PM to lead innovative new product development and process enhancements from concept to launch at their Global HQ in Worthing. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with Regulatory, Quality, Production, IS and Marketing, and ensure design control and QMS alignment.

The role reports to the Head of NPD Projects and requires strong project governance, risk management and supplier collaboration to deliver on time, cost and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
• At least 3 years’ experience managing projects.
• Experience in technically complex engineering projects from concept to launch.
• Working knowledge of PRINCE2, waterfall, Agile and hybrid delivery.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Office, PowerPoint, Project, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver NPD projects following Design Control and Project Management Procedures.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects with cross-functional teams to meet time, cost and quality requirements.
• Develop relationships with key staff across the business and with external partners to facilitate project delivery.
• Ensure project, design and development records comply with QMS and Design Control requirements.
• Drive projects through the NPD/Design Control lifecycle and maintain Design History Files.
• Chair productive project meetings and manage RAID risks and actions.
• Monitor project plans, schedules, budgets and expenditures.
