Job summary

DR Newitt & Associates in Scotland is seeking a Development Project Manager to own a busy portfolio of NPD and EPD projects from development through to launch. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across NPD, Operations, Technical, Supply Chain and Commercial to keep milestones on track.

The role rewards a structured approach, strong stakeholder management and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Experience in FMCG is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Strong project management and critical path experience.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Confidence coordinating cross-functional teams and engaging stakeholders.
• Experience of project governance, stage-gate processes and structured delivery.
• Understanding of manufacturing, supply chain and commercial processes in FMCG.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple NPD/EPD projects from development through to launch.
• Create and maintain critical paths, project plans and milestones.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure timely action completion.
• Manage governance, stage gates, documentation and approvals.
• Identify risks and dependencies before they impact delivery.
• Lead project reviews and provide progress updates to the business.
• Maintain information in PM systems and support factory launches.
