Job summary

Consortium Professional Recruitment are pleased to be working with a growing manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Project Manager: NPD / NPI. This hands-on role owns product development and introduction projects, turning a defined roadmap into delivered products.

You'll coordinate across engineering, design, manufacturing, commercial and marketing teams, creating clarity around priorities and keeping projects moving from brief through testing and market launch.

Qualifications

• Proven experience owning NPD or NPI projects from brief to launch.
• Strong project planning, milestones, dependencies and risk management.
• Experience coordinating engineering, design, manufacturing and commercial stakeholders.
• Understanding of structured NPD/NPI methodologies.
• Clear communication, analytical thinking and proactive problem-solving.
• Experience with certified or regulated products or formal approval processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Owning manufactured-product NPD and NPI projects from brief to market introduction, with clear scope and milestones.
• Developing and managing practical project plans and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Bringing together engineering, design, manufacturing, commercial and marketing to keep projects moving.
• Coordinating testing, validation and certification within the project plan.
• Identifying risks early and reporting progress to establish a repeatable NPD/NPI process.
