About the NPD Account Manager job

The purpose of your role will be to lead the NPD process to ensure successful, timely, and efficient product launches, working closely with Technical, Production, Commercial, and Purchasing teams. You'll also drive continuous improvement and uphold high professional standards across projects.

Key tasks

  • Lead and coordinate NPD & EPD projects professionally and efficiently, ensuring timely factory trials, accurate product scaling, and alignment with customer expectations and company standards.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure co-ownership of specifications, food safety, quality, and compliance with internal policies and external standards (e.g., BRC).
  • Maintain thorough documentation and records to support audit readiness and ongoing improvement through R&D, innovation, and awareness of food trends.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure effective communication, teamwork, and successful product launches.

About You

The successful candidate shall have a food science degree or related subject.

Extensive proven background within an NPD account management role – ideally 5 years.

The NPD Account Managerjob (ref:8895) is paying£52,000 - £57,000according to your experience.

The site is in Cross Hands, South Wales and is commutable from Ammanford, Carmarthen, Swansea, Merthyr Tydfil and surrounding areas.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, usual Office Hours with flexibility.
