Job summary

BLT Circuit Services, an AIM Solder company, is a leading distributor of solder assembly materials for the electronics industry with operations in the UK and beyond. The Sales Manager for the Northern region is responsible for establishing sales targets, providing frontline technical support, and selling our full product line to customers across the North of England and Midlands.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in chemistry is an asset; sales experience is required.
• Some technical sales experience in electronics preferred.
• Excellent negotiating and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• Self-motivated and able to organize visits and sales calls.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Home office based in the North of England/Midlands.

Responsibilities

• Establish and meet sales and profit targets for the Northern UK region.
• Provide frontline sales and technical support to customers.
• Sell the complete product line to the electronics industry.
• Coordinate opportunities and samples with BLT personnel.
• Report activity for identified strategic accounts in a timely manner.
• Define product requirements to the technical department.
• Travel regularly to customers and events as needed.
• Attend trade shows and company sales meetings.
