Job summary

Redline Group Ltd is seeking an Area Sales Manager for the North UK region responsible for growing a portfolio of electronic components and technical solutions. You will focus on new business development, expanding key accounts and maximizing revenue while collaborating with internal teams to resolve commercial issues.

The role demands strong knowledge of electronics, proven sales track record, excellent negotiation skills and experience with inventory solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electronics components and markets.
• Proven track record in business development and key accounts.
• Experience identifying new customers, markets and applications.
• Commercially focused with strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience with VMI or customer inventory solutions is desirable.
• Sourcing and procurement knowledge to support account success.
• Proven ability to manage relationships and customer service.
• Experience working to sales and gross profit budgets.
• Good IT skills and experience with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a profitable portfolio of existing and new customers.
• Drive design-in activity and promote the full range of products and services.
• Develop account strategies and identify new markets, applications and opportunities.
• Manage sales enquiries through to order and take commercial ownership of relationships.
• Achieve or exceed sales and gross profit targets.
• Manage customer inventory and support VMI programmes where required.
• Attend customer meetings, QBRs and industry events.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements.
• Work closely with internal teams, suppliers and customers to resolve issues.
