Job summary

Shillito Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Field Sales representative to cover the North of England. You will manage the territory, win new business, and grow bookings and profitability in equipment, consumables and service sales.

The Area Sales Manager will take ownership of customers, build strong relationships throughout their lifetime, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure demonstrations, training and delivery run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales within materials science or metallography environments.
• Proven ability to win new business and manage key accounts.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on sales booking targets across the North of England territory.
• Build and maintain a strong sales funnel and forecast accurately.
• Demonstrate value and present equipment, consumables and services to customers.
• Negotiate contracts and commercial terms; prepare quotations and proposals.
• Provide on-site training and application support; maintain CRM records.
