Job summary

SM UK is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to own the North West territory and drive growth in the commercial fleet safety sector. You will identify opportunities, develop solutions, present proposals and close orders through consultative selling.

The role is field-based with regular travel across the North West. A proven B2B sales track record, strong relationship-building skills and a proactive, self-motivated approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in B2B business development, field sales or solution-based sales.
• Ability to identify, develop and convert new business opportunities.
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the North West territory and build a strong sales pipeline.
• Develop opportunities from initial contact to quotation and order.
• Engage with Fleet Managers, Transport Managers and dealers to win new business.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure viable, deliverable solutions.
• Maintain accurate forecasts and CRM data to hit targets.
• Represent SMUK professionally at events and meetings.
• Travel regularly within the North West to meet customers.
