Job summary

Arup is seeking an Associate/Associate Director to grow policy and spatial strategy work in the North of England. You will lead client liaison, bid management, and project delivery across a portfolio including local planning policy, evidence and guidance.

The role expects strong leadership and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. You will develop relationships with MHCLG, Homes England, Combined Authorities, and major local authorities, steering projects from proposal to delivery while

Qualifications

• Experience in planning policy and spatial strategy development.
• Strong understanding of local/national planning frameworks and plan systems.

Responsibilities

• Grow market share in policy and spatial strategy in the North of England.
• Engage with existing and potential clients to maintain a strong pipeline of repeat work.
• Lead bidding and delivery of projects with strategic direction and QA.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to maximise project opportunities.
