Salary Up to £55 per hour depending on experience

Job Title: Non-Medical Prescriber – Substance Misuse – Luton

Are you ready for an exciting opportunity to work as a Non-Medical Prescriber in Substance Misuse? We have an opening in Luton for three days a week, earning £50-55 Umbrella hourly. This position is for an initial contract of three months with a view to extend. You will be part of a compassionate team dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey to recovery. Your expert prescribing skills will be pivotal in transforming lives, and the role promises diverse experiences across different settings.

What you will do:

  • Offer care for presenting clients, providing expert guidance and support throughout their treatment.
  • Initiate the prescribing of, and/or make amendments to, prescriptions of opiate and alcohol substitute treatments and other related medications.
  • Take a lead role in developing the prescribing clinic, serving as a point of contact for other workers and partner agencies regarding prescribing issues.
