Cancer Services are looking for a proactive MDT Administrative Assistant to provide adminstrative support to our Cancer Pathway Coordinators. This is an interesting and performance-focused role, bringing the post holder in touch with a variety of departments and professionals within the Trust.
The post holder will facilitate the collection of cancer data through rigorous patient tracking, drive patients through their pathways to achieve the National Cancer Targets, and help prepare for the smooth running of the MDT meetings., The well-being of our staff is of the upmost importance to us. If you are offered a role at our Trust, and fall into the increased and higher risk categories as set out by Public Health England (PHE) and NHSI/E, your line manager will complete an risk assessment with you. This will be completed in conjunction with the latest guidance from Public Health England in relation to Covid-19.
The successful applicant will possess excellent communication and computer skills, be efficient at organising and prioritising a busy workload and remain calm under pressure to achieve tight deadlines. The candidates must have an understanding of patient and data confidentiality and its importance.
