Job summary

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated full-time administrator to support the Cancer MDT coordinators in coordinating and tracking patients with suspected or confirmed cancer in a timely, efficient way.

The role involves liaising with clinical and administrative teams across the Trust and at tertiary centres to coordinate appointments, investigations and treatments, ensure complete data capture, meet deadlines and escalate any patient pathway delays

Qualifications

• GCSE level or equivalent qualification.
• NVQ L3 in business administration or equivalent.
• Ability to gather, analyse and interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track patients with suspected or confirmed cancer for timely care.
• Liaise with clinical and administrative teams within the Trust and at tertiary centres.
• Ensure data requirements are collected, up to date and accurate; escalate delays.
• Support cancer MDT meetings and data quality management.
