Job summary

recseekers in Cardiff is seeking an experienced Branch Manager for our education recruitment business. This non-billing leadership role covers people, performance, L&D, hiring and day-to-day operations across an office-based and remote team.

You’ll coach a 10-person branch (7 consultants), interview and hire trainees and experienced recruiters, develop training plans, and work with the Founder on strategy and growth to expand into new markets.

Branch Manager – Education Recruitment | Cardiff | Hybrid | £55,000+

recseekers is hiring an experienced Branch Manager for a well-established Education recruitment business in Cardiff.

The branch currently sits at around 10 people, with direct responsibility for approximately 7 consultants across office-based and remote working.

This is a non-billing leadership role covering people, performance, L&D, hiring and operations. You’ll also work closely with the Founder on strategy, headcount growth and opportunities to expand into new markets.

The role:

• Lead, coach and develop the existing consultant team
• Manage individual and team performance, targets and 1:1s
• Improve training and L&D across the branch
• Interview and hire trainees and experienced recruiters

The business has built an excellent reputation locally, with established partnerships across schools, MATs and SATs throughout Cardiff and the surrounding region.

It’s already a well-performing branch with a good team and strong foundations. The next hire is about adding experienced leadership to improve standards, develop the existing team and support the next stage of growth.

You’ll need previous management experience within Education recruitment and a track record of successfully developing teams. You should be comfortable managing different personalities and experience levels, improving performance and creating structure around training and development.

Package:

• Individual and team bonus
• No personal billing target

Regular presence in the Cardiff office will be important, particularly around training, team development and new starters.
