Job summary

Caterpillar Desford is seeking a Nodes Quality Technician to maintain and improve the quality of machines leaving the Desford facility. You will audit defects, identify root causes, and coordinate with operations to implement fixes. Regularly liaise with US Node facilities and drive corrective actions based on defect data.

The role requires collaboration across shifts when needed and adherence to KPI-driven processes, ensuring products meet customer and dealer expectations.

Your work ensures that products meet customer and dealer expectations through effective coordination, analysis, and communication. **What you will do:** As a **Nodes Quality Technician**, you are accountable for, but not limited to:* Work closely with operations and team leaders to build strong working relationships.* Carry out audits on machine defects to find root causes and support fixes.* Keep regular contact with US Node facilities through daily and weekly meetings.* Use defect data to identify and follow up on Interim and Permanent Corrective Actions (ICA/PCA).* Complete tasks on time and in line with company processes.* Be flexible and willing to work across shifts when needed. **NB.
