Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts who are proud of their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical tasks, helping to maintain the nation’s critical infrastructure connectivity and security 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:

1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
3. Action Service Requests.
4. Allocate/despatch tickets to support and engineering teams, and other service providers.
5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
6. Coordinate traffic management with relevant providers and teams.
7. Communicate with customers regarding network incidents.
8. Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.

Who you are:

Previous experience supporting enterprise and service provider networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
