About the Role

NOC Engineer (Network Operation Centre)

Telent is hiring a NOC Engineer to join our Network Operations Centre team at our Camberley (Surrey) office. If you have a keen interest in Network Monitoring, Troubleshooting & Fixing, and want to develop your career, this role is for you!

The position supports a 24/7 Network Operations Centre, primarily on a Monday-Friday day shift pattern, 37.5 hours per week. The role is office-based at our Camberley office (GU15 3YL), with potential for future remote work one day per week.

Responsibilities

1. Provide technical support for Telent Network Services customers, including troubleshooting, diagnosis, and data analysis.
2. Communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders.
3. Support change management processes and adhere to organizational policies.
4. Take ownership of incidents to ensure customer satisfaction.
5. Notify customers and third parties of issues and updates.
6. Conduct trend and root cause analysis for incidents.
7. Review performance reports to identify trends and support problem management.
8. Collaborate with the Service Desk team to meet SLAs and KPIs.

Key Requirements

1. Relevant NOC experience or similar environment background.
2. Experience as a Service Desk Analyst/Engineer or troubleshooting background.
3. Certifications such as CompTIA A+ (preferred), Network+ (desirable), CCNA/JNCIA-JUNOS (desirable), CCT/CCST Cisco (desirable), ITF+ (desirable).
4. Willingness to learn and adapt.
5. Teamwork and respect for others.
