Job summary

Hestia in Streatham is seeking an Out of Hours Intervention Worker to support residents in our Approved Premises service during night hours. You will build positive relationships, promote engagement with licence conditions and provide practical support to help individuals move towards independence and stability.

Working closely with probation services and police, you will monitor safety and wellbeing, maintain records, and apply trauma-informed professional judgement while upholding boundaries

Qualifications

• Experience working in criminal justice or related sector preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to assess and respond to changing situations.
• Experience recording and sharing information with confidentiality and safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety, security and wellbeing of residents overnight.
• Respond to incidents and take appropriate enforcement action when required.
• Maintain accurate records and share information with colleagues and partner agencies.
• Support delivery of sentence plans and ensure the premises are clean, safe and welcoming.
