Job summary

Hestia is seeking a part-time Refuge Worker to provide intensive, person-centred support to women in a residential setting in Richmond. You will deliver key sessions, run community meetings and help co-produce Support and Safety Plans focusing on residents’ strengths and goals.

You will liaise with statutory bodies on safeguarding, support move-on accommodation, and promote empowerment through workshops and social activities.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with diverse and complex needs.
• Safeguarding knowledge and welfare benefits, housing legislation.
• Ability to record casework accurately using computer systems.
• Ability to work independently in the community and travel around the borough.

Responsibilities
