Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking an experienced nightshift store manager to oversee overnight replenishment and full store operations. You will lead a team, manage performance and ensure safe, efficient handling of tasks from warehouse to shelves.

Responsibilities include coaching colleagues to deliver high standards, handling disciplinaries where needed, and ensuring schedules and pay are accurate while maintaining a safe environment for staff during out‑of‑hours trading.

Qualifications

• Brilliant customer service, coaching colleagues to do the same.
• Experience leading a team in fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Operational leadership in store absence of senior managers.
• Track record meeting or exceeding KPIs (sales, availability, customer satisfaction).
• Experience handling employee relations issues including performance and absence management.

Responsibilities

• Lead overnight team to deliver replenishment and store operations.
• Oversee full store operation overnight, ensuring safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
• Ensure standards are ready for morning service to customers.
• Manage performance, capability, disciplinaries, scheduling and pay accuracy.
