Sainsbury’s Group is recruiting a night shift manager in Hoddesdon to lead overnight replenishment and store operations. You will prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse, and ensure shelves are replenished, while safeguarding team welfare.

The role requires strong people management, a proven track record in KPI delivery, and the ability to operate independently during night shifts; you’ll drive standards and customer readiness for the morning service.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Proven ability to coach colleagues and drive performance against KPIs.
• Comfort with nightshift work and maintaining a safe, healthy team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead overnight replenishment and store operations, prioritising deliveries and organising the warehouse.
• Oversee the full store operation during night shifts and ensure safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
• Maintain high standards by morning so the store is ready to serve customers.
• Manage disciplinary issues, scheduling, and pay, and coach the team to perform well.
