Job summary

HC-One Ltd. in the UK is recruiting a part-time Senior Care Assistant for a night shift (8pm–8am) in a specialist YPD unit.

You will lead a small team of Care Assistants, plan and deliver personalised care, and work with the Registered Nurse to support residents with dignity and independence. You will maintain accurate records, support social and recreational activities, and assist with medication administration.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Social Care is preferred.
• Prepared to work toward Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care.
• Background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain high standards of care.
• Assist Registered Nurse and Care Manager with medication administration and care plans.
• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and build strong team relationships.
