Job summary

Tarmac Trading Limited is seeking a Multi Skilled Operative for the Mountsorrel Asphalt Plant on night shift. The role covers asphalt mixing, RAP production, weighbridge duties and plant operation with a focus on safety and quality.

You will work in a supportive team, gaining hands-on experience and opportunities for development in a busy plant environment near Loughborough. Previous plant experience is beneficial but not essential; attitude and willingness to learn matter most.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in plant or mobile machinery operations.
• Shovel licence is desirable but not essential.
• Excavator licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Mixing asphalt to specification.
• Production of RAP to specification.
• Collaborate to deliver quality materials and on-time deliveries.
• Weighbridge operations.
• Operate mobile plant including loading shovel.
• Support Supervisors with daily/weekly production targets.
• Carry out inspections and remedial actions.
• Assist with planned and reactive plant maintenance.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards.
• Promote and operate to HSE and quality standards.
