Job summary

Stephens Bakery is seeking a Nightshift Bakery Assistant in Dunfermline to help produce award-winning products to high standards of safety, quality and consistency. You’ll join a team that puts customers first and values a can-do attitude and teamwork.

Hours are 16 per week, Friday and Saturday evenings, 6:00pm–2:30am, with starting pay £14.65 per hour rising to £15.16 after a 13-week probation. 18+ required.

Qualifications

• Positive, reliable attitude and willingness to learn.
• Pride in doing a job well for customers.
• Enjoy working as part of a supportive team.
• Bakery experience is a bonus, but full training is provided.
• Physically demanding role, standing long periods, manual handling, fast pace.

Responsibilities

• Working safely in line with policies and health & safety legislation.
• Preparing and chaffing dough.
• Lidding pies and filling doughnuts.
• Weighing ingredients and following recipes.
• Filling machinery and hoppers.
• Baking products to specification.
• Packing and checking products to ensure quality.
• Cleaning production and packing areas to maintain hygiene.
