Job summary

Pioneer Selection is seeking a Nights Maintenance Engineer for a busy food manufacturing site near Wisbech. You will ensure continuous running of equipment during nights, respond to maintenance tasks and breakdowns to maximise uptime.

The ideal candidate will have an electrical bias, Level 3 electrical/engineering qualification, and experience with planned maintenance in an industrial environment. The role offers a competitive package and progression opportunities.

Job Title: Nights Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £55,000 (OTE £60,000+)
Shift: 4 On 4 Off (Nights)

Job Role of the Nights Maintenance Engineer.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the continuous running of equipment and machinery. The successful individual will be tasked with responding to both pre-planned maintenance as well as breakdowns, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Nights Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias
• Electrical / engineering qualification (Level 3)
• Maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment

Requirements for the Nights Maintenance Engineer

• Strong fault-finding and reactive maintenance capability
• Experience carrying out PPM and planned maintenance routines
• Ability to attend breakdowns in a timely manner and work to site standards
• Exposure to industrial electrical equipment such as: single phase, three phase, motors, relays, sensors, inverters (plus hydraulics/pneumatics/gearboxes beneficial)
