Job summary

Pioneer Selection is seeking a Days Maintenance Engineer for a food manufacturing site in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. The role covers pre-planned maintenance and breakdown responses to maximise equipment uptime and reliability.

You will operate on a 4 on 4 off days shift, working within a stable, well-established manufacturing environment with strong engineering standards. The ideal candidate has an electrical bias, Level 3 qualification and proven industrial maintenance experience, with

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification at Level 3 or equivalent.
• Maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Strong fault-finding and reactive maintenance capability.
• Experience carrying out PPM and planned maintenance routines.

Responsibilities

• Respond to planned maintenance and breakdowns to maximise uptime and efficiency.
• Maintain continuous running of equipment and machinery on a fast-paced site.

Salary: £50,000 (OTE £56,000+)

Job Role

A fantastic opportunity which is not to be missed by a strong Maintenance Engineer has come to the forefront. This is an excellent role for an engineer looking to join a stable, well-established manufacturing business, working on a fast-paced site with a strong focus on reliability and engineering standards. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the continuous running of equipment and machinery. The successful individual will be tasked with responding to both pre-planned maintenance as well as breakdowns, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.

Non Negotiable Requirements

• Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias
• Electrical / engineering qualification (Level 3)
• Maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment

Requirements

• Strong fault-finding and reactive maintenance capability
• Experience carrying out PPM and planned maintenance routines
• Ability to attend breakdowns in a timely manner and work to site standards
• Exposure to industrial electrical equipment such as: single phase, three phase, motors, relays, sensors, inverters (plus hydraulics/pneumatics/gearboxes beneficial)
