Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a Food Manufacturing site near Wisbech. The role emphasizes reliability and engineering standards, ensuring equipment runs smoothly and breakdowns are resolved promptly.

You will work on a 4 on 4 off days shift with an electrical bias and Level 3 qualification, carrying out planned maintenance while responding to faults to maximise site uptime.

Qualifications

Job Title: Days Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £50,000 (OTE £56,000+)

Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the continuous running of equipment and machinery. The successful individual will be tasked with responding to both pre-planned maintenance as well as breakdowns, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.

Non-negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias
• Electrical / engineering qualification (Level 3)
• Maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment

Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• Strong fault-finding and reactive maintenance capability
• Experience carrying out PPM and planned maintenance routines
• Ability to attend breakdowns in a timely manner and work to site standards
• Exposure to industrial electrical equipment such as: single phase, three phase, motors, relays, sensors, inverters (plus hydraulics/pneumatics/gearboxes beneficial)
