XPO Logistics seeks a Nights Manager for our Swindon site, responsible for the safe and efficient running of the transport function and ensuring service standards are met. You will lead a team, coach staff, and manage customer relationships across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising and developing a team in a fast-paced transport environment.
• Proven experience in transport and understanding of driver hours and compliance.
• Computer literate; capable of handling emails, dispatching drivers and handovers.
• Strong team-building and leadership skills.
• Experience with C+E drivers would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Take full operational accountability for the Swindon site, managing time to ensure safe, efficient service.
• Lead and coach your team, providing development and support.
• Manage relationships with customers and stakeholders with clear communication.
• Ensure teams align with XPO standards, policies and procedures.
• Assist with daily plan execution for deliveries and collections, monitoring resources.
• Provide leadership to meet objectives and promote open communication.
